Australian politics set for massive change in election year

A question of stability hangs over the Australian parliament as it prepares for an election later this year.

The ruling Coalition is unable to do much ruling, as it sits in a minority with Labor and the crossbenchers holding all the power.

TV host Paul Murray told The Weekend Collective that it’s not a good position for Scott Morrison and the Liberal Party to be in.

“They have to go begging to get anything done. We have a government, but the question of stability, who knows.”

An election is due in May, which likely is going to out the Liberals.

Murray says that, by all indications, Bill Shorten and the Labor Party will win and win big.

However, Murray says that it has nothing to do with politics and is a simple reflection of the state of politics in the country.
